Benefit Concert
for
David Kamp
Sunday, September 9, 2001
2 p.m. - 10 p.m.
Free

Downtown Walking Mall at Performance Square

David suffers
from an aggressive form of lymphoma. This form is very rare
for a boy of David's age (6 years). Diagnosed on May 4, the
disease has led to a 37-week chemotherapy treatment at Children's
Hospital in Seattle. The treatment will last through February
2002. When he returns home, he will be on antibiotics for
two years.
David and his
mother are "camping out" in Seattle, staying in
a camp trailer on hospital grounds. His two older brothers
remain in the care of family, here in Helena and in Plains,
Montana. His father died in 1998.
The family
already has faced extensive medical bills from a car accident
in 1998. Lacking medical insurance, the family receives limited
assistance. The costs of David's treatment have not been tallied,
but they are certain to be staggering.
The Kamp family
needs our help. To donate money or items for the benefit auction,
