Beth Sauer, 37, is suffering from a rare form of lung cancer - atypical carcinoid cancer. Beth has never smoked; this type of cancer affects the lungs in only a small percentage of cases. In November 2003, she had her right lung removed. She has also received chemotherapy and radiation treatment. Beth received treatment recently in Iowa, and she may need to seek treatment in Europe.

This disease has put a great deal of stress on Beth's family. She and her husband, Lance, have three children - Alyssa, 13, Brandon, 10, and Zachary, 2. Beth has medical insurance, but incidental costs and a cap on coverage present challenges to their finances. Thanks to all who have helped face the challenge!

The Sauer family still needs your help. You can mail donations to 517 Knight, Helena MT 59601.
