The Lost & Foundation will hold a fund-raising concert on Sunday, October 13, at the Helena Colonial Hotel - Red Lion from 2 to 10 p.m. Proceeds of the concert will go to Koltin Tanniehill, a 16-year-old student at Helena High School.
Since birth, Koltin Tanniehill has been battling seven heart defects. He has had multiple heart operations, including two open-heart surgeries. Last month, another surgery in Salt Lake City revealed two new problems requiring further treatment and possible surgery.
Koltin’s father, Senior Officer Roy Tanniehill, is the Resource Officer at Helena Housing Authority. The family includes three children and three foster children.
Luckily, the Tanniehill family has insurance. However, they face deductibles, out-of-pocket costs, and travel. The rising expenses greatly impact the family finances.
