The Lost & Foundation will hold a fund-raising concert on Sunday, October 23, at the Red Lion Colonial Hotel from 2 to 10 p.m. Proceeds of the concert will go to Terina Williams, owner of the new Little t’s Soup & Sandwich Shop in Capital Hill Mall.
After experiencing severe pain and going to the emergency room, Terina was flown to Billings on May 10, where she learned she has stage 3 cervical cancer. Terina spent 10 weeks in the hospital there undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatment. She now needs to go back for continued treatment.
Terina has no medical insurance, and her medical bills have exceeded $90,000. Her remaining treatment in Billings will cost about $8,400 each week. In addition, she has travel expenses while also trying to maintain her home in Helena.
In spite of her illness, Terina recently opened Little t’s Soup & Sandwich Shop in the Capital Hill Mall. With her new business up and running, she hopes to obtain insurance soon. In the meantime, she needs to continue testing and treatment in Billings.
The benefit will include three live music stages at in the Red Lion Colonial convention center and Martini’s Lounge. The hotel will set up food and beverage service at reasonable prices. Sixteen musical acts are donating their time and talents to help Terina.
The Lost & Foundation benefit for Terina Williams starts at 2 in the afternoon on October 23 at the Red Lion Colonial Hotel. For more information, call 442-5002.
